Alex has a keen interest in the musculoskeletal area of physiotherapy and takes hands on approach to treatment and rehabilitation. Alex provides his clients with a thorough assessment for an accurate diagnosis and puts a great importance on patient education and understanding of symptoms. Alex has a background in exercise science and sports conditioning which gives him strong knowledge and understanding of sporting injuries and the recovery process. His dual qualification enables him to effectively combine physiotherapy treatment with effective exercise prescription to achieve the best outcomes
for his patients. He has expertise in both adolescent and adult sporting injuries and is currently developing an adolescent sports management program for gymnasts.

Alex’s interest areas include adolescent and children’s sporting injuries and conditioning; sporting injury management and exercise screening; headache, migraine and spinal pain; jaw and TMJ; BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), men’s health and pre- and post-natal management.
 

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Physiotherapy

  • Watson Headache Level I and II

  • Strain-Counterstrain (Jones Technique) spinal

  • Keniso Taping K1 and K2

  • Musculoskeletal Dry Needling

  • Mat and Reformer Pilates Qualified

  • Cert III and IV in Fitness

  • SMA Sports Trainer
